The Identity Box
Make it Public 2020
About this project
The Identity Box is a video-podcast series with designers, artists, scholars and professionals from around the world, discussing various aspects and perspectives around the concept of 'identity'. In this project, created as part of the MRes course at the Royal College of Art, London, we addressed the current circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic by reflecting on how 'identity' can be regarded as a box, physically, conceptually, emotionally, cognitively and socially.
With this series of interviews, elicit cross-disciplinary discussions and connections between professionals working in different fields of thought and practice.
This project is part of the Royal College of Art MRes Programme Make it Public Digital Festival with the Design Museum.

We would like to thank all the participants for sharing their time with us during this complex situation, the Design Museum for the opportunity to publish this work, and our friends and families for the support. We hope to continue this series with more perspectives on the subject of ‘identity’ in the future.
